Meet the Panel and Uploader

THE PANEL is located on the left your dashboard screen and is your link to core medical content. These sites were handpicked to allow you to dig into new content that is peered reviewed.

From your dashboard, these links will take you to the respective sites and allow you to browse their content. If you read something that you like and would like to add to your library for future reference, click on + Add, found in the top right corner of your dashboard. Click on the image below.

Once you clicked on the + Add link in the top of your screen, the uploader will appear.

Adding the content

In the next section we will take you through the content uploader.

Categories

The uploader is programmed to store the links in specific categories that you create. It is important that you keep these tidy, to overcome information overload when you are looking for something quickly. Categories will allow you to group content together and is collapsible and expandable in the application.

Topics

The Search function of the personal library is programmed to bring up topics when you start typing. This allows you to browse through thousands of resources quickly.

Links

Certain websites are not secured by a SSL certificate and will not load within the engine. Therefore, we added two link options where the URL’s can be pasted from within the browser.

Upload a document or a file

If you made a note or a summary, you can upload it by using your phone or tablet or directly from your desktop computer.

Make notes

The Notepad

The note pad is found in the bottom of the uploader and allows you to generate your own notes about the resource. Often in conferences, you are presented with links to websites and this allows you to document on the go. The information that is captured within the notepad, is editable within the My Resources section of the Ventricle Dashboard V2.0.
